Updating a Device with the sentinel-net router
Create a device update following these instructions.
Switch on the 'sentinel-net' modem and bring your Sentinel device into 'sentinel-net' range. View the instructions for setting up the modem to connect to 'sentinel-net.'
Turn the Sentinel on and wait for a blue light to flash.
If the blue light does not flash after ~3 minutes or before all other lights turn off, turn the Sentinel off and on again.
Once the blue and green lights stop flashing:
A solid blue light means the Sentinel has updated successfully.
A solid green light means the Sentinel has failed to update. In this case attempt the update again. If it still fails, contain sentinel-support@conservationxlabs.org
You can also view the update status on the Dashboard, either on the My Devices or the Device Updates pages.
Turn off the Sentinel once all lights have turned off. The update is done and the Sentinel is ready to be deployed into the field.
