Does the Sentinel/Conservation X Labs own my data?
No, your data remains yours even after you upload your datasets.
How quickly will my model be installed onto my Sentinel(s)
New models will be installed/removed from Sentinels during their update process, either over WiFi or with a USB drive. Currently, there is no over-the-air update function for Sentinels in the field.
How many animals can I train in one model?
You may train as many animals as you would like in one model. We train models on classes that have a large number and variety of data (images/videos) available of that class member.
How many models can I install onto my Sentinel?
You can install as many models as you like onto your Sentinel, but more models will lower battery life faster as processing times will be longer. Typically you will not need more than 1-2 models.
Can I install a model onto a device that isn't near me physically/connected to wifi?
No, after you have set up a new update for your Sentinel(s) in the dashboard or with one of our team members, the updating Sentinels must either be connected to 'sentinel-net' WiFi via a modem or updated with a USB drive.
How many Sentinels can I install a model onto?
You can install your model(s) onto as many Sentinels as you like (that you own).
Can multiple people access Sentinel's insights?
Multiple users can have the same device registered to their account and have access to the same insights and images. Get in touch with our support at sentinel-support@conservationxlabs.org to request a team member at your organization have access to the same device(s).
