# Overview

## About

Conservation X Labs' Sentinel is an all-in-one AI toolkit to plugin and upgrade cameras and sound recorders with the ability to run machine learning models on captured data. Today, the Sentinel supports object detection and classification models.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Conservationists use the Sentinel** to filter photos captured on trail cameras, and get text messages when a species of interest is photographed.
{% endhint %}

Get started and use the Sentinel to:

> * Browse and download pre-trained models on the Model Marketplace
> * Create a custom model, with or without your own dataset, in one click
> * Provide feedback to improve your models
> * Upload models seamlessly to your Sentinel in one click
> * Filter your captured data and only see what's important to you
> * See your data's insights coming in live from Sentinels out in the field

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://conservation-x-labs-1.gitbook.io/sentinel-multi-language/overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
