# Receiving Your Data

You will be able to view your live data insights through both:

* The [Insights page](#receiving-data-on-insights-page) on your dashboard or mobile app
* [Text message, email, and/or social media notifications](#undefined) that you have selected to switch on for a chosen model

## Receiving Data on Insights Page

All insights sent from your fleet of Sentinel devices will appear on your insights page, in your online dashboard, and mobile app. More information about the [*Insights page* is found here.](/sentinel-multi-language/in-the-field/using-the-dashboard/insights.md)

## Receiving Data Elsewhere

You can set up notifications for your delivered insights and be alerted in more places than your insights page. In *My Models*, click *EDIT MODEL* to select which (if not all) species in your model you would like to receive notification alerts for, and how you would like to receive these messages (text, email).

Your dashboard will use your email address and phone number saved under your *Account*, so ensure these contact details are correct to notify you on your insights.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://conservation-x-labs-1.gitbook.io/sentinel-multi-language/in-the-field/receiving-your-data.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
