You can have as many Sentinel devices on your account as you like!
Which cameras can the Sentinel connect to?
The Sentinel is designed to be a universal plugin for all commercial trail cameras. That being said, the engineering team is constantly testing cameras to verify their connection with the Sentinel. Below is a table of confirmed tests of camera brands the Sentinel works with.

How many cameras can the Sentinel plug into?
The Sentinel plugs into one camera at a time, and will pull and process images from the camera it's connected to.
Where are my original photos stored?
All photos taken on the camera are stored on the Sentinel.
How much storage is on the Sentinel?
The Sentinel comes with a 64GB microSD card, but can be replaced with any microSD card of your choice.
Can the Sentinel send videos from cameras with video functions?
The Sentinel is only able to send thumbnail images of the photos taken, and this is only available for cellular-enabled devices. Videos and full-resolution images are stored on the Sentinel ready for you when you pick up the device's microSD card.
What SD cards can I use in the cameras?
Plug the Sentinel's SD cable adapter into the camera you are connecting to.
Can the Sentinel or connected camera be turned on and off via app?
Unfortuantely, neither the Sentinel nor the connected camera can be powered on or off remotely. This has to be done in person by flipping the switch.
How long do the rechargeable batteries last?
This depends, but on average, the Sentinel will last for 3 months before recharging batteries. The different factors that will affect your Sentinel's battery life are:
The number of animals on the models installed onto your Sentinel
The number of models installed on your Sentinel
The processing time interval you have set for your Sentinel (how often it wakes up to check for new images)
If you have a solar panel plugged into the Sentinel (this can extend your battery life indefinitely if installed in a good location)
Is the Sentinel waterproof?
When installed correctly, the Sentinel is water-resistant with a rubber seal on the inside of the door that will stop water from entering the device. The Sentinel has been tested to be IP67
Why not use a wifi SD card instead of an SD cable adapter?
Wifi SD cards aren't as reliable and require constant power to use. They are also not supported by the majority of camera brands
Is the SD cable adapter resistant to weather and animals?
When installed correctly, the cable adapter is very weather-resistant and should be well protected from animals. Although this certainly depends on the animals your Sentinel will be around
What do the status lights mean?
The Sentinel has LEDs to guide you through the device's deployment. Deploying your Sentinel will walk you through this process, and instructions are available on your mobile app.
Can this product work on its own?
No, the Sentinel has to be plugged into a camera to be able to pull images and process them
Are the photos taken stored in their original resolution?
Yes, all photos captured on your cameras are kept on the Sentinel's storage in their original resolution.
If I forget to set the camera's date and time, will the Sentinel correct it for me?
When images are processed on the Sentinel, we will read the date and time settings on the camera and use that as the captured data's timestamp. Right now the Sentinel will not correct this data (IS THIS CORRECT?)
